Russia could become Africa's key partner in technology and agriculture, says Serge Phocas Odunlami.

Russia has unique experience in technology and agriculture, which is in great demand on the African continent. This was stated by Serge Phocas Odunlami, President of the "House of Africa" and Chairman of the "Africa Calling!" business club, at the "Economy of Trust" roundtable organized by the "Business Assembly" entrepreneurs' association.

"Russia has great technological and agricultural potential, and African countries need this experience to develop their economies," Odunlami emphasized. He noted that long-term and mutually beneficial projects can be built through active interaction between Russian regions and African countries.

He noted that for successful cooperation, it is important to understand each other's business cultures and mentalities. "We hear a lot about working with companies from Europe, Asia, or Latin America, but Africa is not that far away either. We need to better understand each other to build productive relationships," he said.

Serge Phocas Odunlami also called on Russian businesses to expand their participation in joint projects: "We invite not only Moscow but also other regions of Russia to create distribution hubs, joint port infrastructure, and transport and warehouse projects."

At the roundtable, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Business Assembly and the ANO House of Africa. The entrepreneur emphasized: "No electronic communications can replace face-to-face interaction. It is this interaction that builds trust and sustainable partnerships."

Experts note that the initiative could serve as an impetus for expanding bilateral trade and technology exchange between Russia and African countries, and joint projects in agriculture and logistics could open up new opportunities for both sides.
