Moscow. A working meeting was held between Serge Phocas Odunlami, President of the "House of Africa," and Joseph Nkurunziza, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Burundi to the Russian Federation.

During the talks, the parties confirmed the high level of bilateral cooperation and the positive dynamics of Russian-Burundian relations. Particular attention was paid to expanding humanitarian, cultural, and educational cooperation, which is considered a crucial component of a sustainable and long-term partnership between the two countries.

The meeting discussed prospects for implementing new joint initiatives aimed at deepening the presence of Russian business and cultural projects in the Republic of Burundi, as well as activating the activities of Burundian organizations and entrepreneurs in the Russian Federation.

Priority areas included developing cultural exchange, developing new educational programs for Burundian youth, and creating specialized platforms to support Burundian entrepreneurs interested in entering the Russian market.

Following the talks, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in the practical implementation of the agreements reached and expressed their readiness to further strengthen their partnership and friendly ties.

The "Africa House" continues to serve as a key institution for humanitarian and business cooperation between the Russian Federation and African countries, promoting intercultural dialogue and expanding multilateral cooperation.
