AFROFEST-2025 concluded in Kaluga with a vibrant event.
The recently concluded AFROFEST-2025 international festival in Kaluga was a vibrant event, bringing together representatives of the diplomatic corps from 14 African countries. The two-day event, held at the Innovative Cultural Center of the region, was part of a larger project aimed at strengthening cultural and business ties between the countries of Eurasia and the African continent.
The event's organizer, Serge Phocas Odunlami, emphasized the importance of culture as the foundation for intercultural interaction and economic cooperation. Supported by the Presidential Grants Fund, the project included not only the festival itself but also the Eurasia-Africa 2025 business forum, where business representatives could discuss prospects for developing bilateral relations. On the second day of the festival, guests and local residents had a unique opportunity to experience the rich culture and art of the peoples of Africa. The event's diverse program included interactive master classes, engaging quizzes, and rousing dance battles, literally filling the festive atmosphere with vibrant colors and positive energy.
The festival's scale was impressive: approximately 500 people were involved in its preparation, and the total number of visitors exceeded 10,000 in just one day.
Thus, AFROFEST-2025 demonstrated a high level of interest in developing international cooperation and strengthened Kaluga's reputation as a significant cultural center that fosters strong friendships and partnerships between peoples of different continents.
