A meeting was held between representatives of the ANO "House of Africa" and the leadership of the Embassy of South Africa in Russia.
A working meeting was held in Moscow between Serge Phocas Odunlami, President of the "House of Africa" non-profit organization, and representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of South Africa in the Russian Federation—First Secretary Vusimuei Skhosana and Counselor Sibusiso Shezi.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for developing humanitarian, cultural, and business cooperation between Russia and African countries, as well as the role of public organizations in strengthening international ties. Particular attention was paid to expanding interaction between Russian and South African institutions, implementing joint projects, and supporting initiatives in education, culture, and youth exchange.
Serge Phocas Odunlami noted the importance of systematic dialogue between public organizations and diplomatic missions to build sustainable partnerships and promote mutual understanding between the peoples of Russia and Africa.
Representatives of the South African Embassy, in turn, expressed interest in further collaboration with the House of Africa non-profit organization and supporting initiatives aimed at developing bilateral ties and promoting a positive image of South Africa in Russia.
The meeting was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere and marked an important step toward strengthening Russian-South African cooperation in the socio-diplomatic and humanitarian spheres.
