Russia and Gambia are opening a new chapter in cooperation.
Moscow. A meeting between representatives of Africa House and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Gambia to the Russian Federation took place in the capital. This meeting marked an important step in strengthening bilateral Russian-Gambian relations. Following the talks, the parties confirmed their intention to move toward the practical implementation of joint projects in the humanitarian, cultural, and business spheres.
During the meeting, the Ambassador of Gambia expressed the Embassy's readiness to provide comprehensive support for Africa House initiatives aimed at developing cultural, educational, and economic cooperation between the two countries. This includes assistance in organizing events, establishing business contacts, and promoting joint projects.
Particular attention was paid to plans to expand activities within Gambia itself. The parties agreed to prepare and host large-scale events in the Republic, which will serve as a new platform for interaction between Russian business, culture, and educational institutions and partners in West Africa.
Meeting participants emphasized that the development of Russian-Gambian relations is reaching a new, more dynamic level. According to them, cooperation will be built on the principles of mutual respect, openness, and a focus on practical results.
Africa House will continue its work to build sustainable partnerships between Russia and African countries, viewing The Gambia as a key hub for growth and collaboration. The first concrete steps and projects to be implemented in The Gambia are expected to be announced soon.
